How long does a bar of soap last?

With normal daily use and proper storage, a full-size bar lasts six to eight weeks. Cold-process soap is denser than commercial detergent bars, so it lasts noticeably longer per bar.

Why does my bar look a little different from the photo?

Every batch is poured, marbled, and cut by hand, so small variations in color, swirl pattern, and shape are normal — not a defect. The scent, ingredients, and cure time stay consistent batch to batch.

Is Rabbit Soap vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes. Every formula is plant-based, and nothing we sell is tested on animals.

I have sensitive skin. Is this soap safe for me?

Most people with sensitive skin do well with our unscented Bare Oat bar, but everyone’s skin is different. We recommend a small patch test on your inner arm 24 hours before your first full use, and discontinuing use if you notice any irritation.

How should I store a bar between uses?

Keep it on a draining soap dish, out of standing water, between uses. A bar that’s allowed to dry between washes will outlast one left sitting in a puddle by weeks.

What does “cured” mean?

Every bar rests for 42 days after it’s poured. That time drives off excess water, hardens the bar, and gives it a denser, longer-lasting lather. We don’t ship anything before its cure is complete.

Can I use your bars on my face?

Bare Oat and Sun Milk are gentle enough for facial use for most skin types. Midnight Clay and Fig Leaf + Moss are formulated for body use. If in doubt, patch test first.

What’s your return policy?

Unopened, unused items can be returned within 30 days. For hygiene reasons we can’t accept opened soap or bath products back — see our full Refund & Returns Policy.
